RnB Live: March

Yes folks, it's that time again. RnB Live is back for another edition! I keep trying to tell you how great this event is, so I hope you are listening. If you missed it, be sure to check my re-cap from the February show.

On the heels of last month's killer show, the organizers have decided to continue the theme of showcasing some of the DMV's up-and-coming, unsigned talent. On Tuesday, March 17, Maryland's own Terrence Cunningham will be hitting the stage to deliver what he calls "alternative soul". In addition to being the nephew of Jazz Legend Etta Baker, Terrence has shared the stage with vocalist-supreme, Ledisi and the smoothed-out soul singer, Emily King.

Opening the show is Washington, DC native, Alison Carney. Alison is a classically-trained pianist, who takes you on a journey with her lyrics and her deliverance. She has shared the stage with RnB greats Raheem Devaughn and Wayna.

Make plans to be at Posh on Tuesday, March 17. WKYS radio personality, Antonio "The Cuban Cigar Smoker" will be serving as the host and DJ Huck Finn will be on the wheels.

Posh Restaurant & Supper Club is located at 730 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20001. The doors open at 8pm. For table reservations, please call 202.393.0975 or visit www.poshdc.com.

As always, shouts to Candice Nicole for sending the info!
