Singles Awareness Day

It's impossible to not know this, but today is Valentine's Day. For those of us that are unattached, this is the day that the world makes is abundantly clear that you're not. Scientifically speaking, I think it's called Single's Awareness Day (S.A.D.).

In honor of everyone celebrating the single life (whether it's your choice or just your reality), my homie Modi put together a soundtrack to help us celebrate in style.

Singles Awareness Day isn’t a day of mourning; it’s simply a time where you’re made aware of the single life, whether or not you’re living it. If you’re boo’d up, you can reflect on the lives of your friends who aren’t, or you can wonder what it’d be like if you didn’t have shortypop by your side this V-Day. If you aren’t, then you can play this and reminisce, living vicariously through the music.

S.A.D. III features an eclectic mix of HipHop, R&B and pop songs from artists including Foreigner, Drake, Cameo, Stalley, Fat Trel, Slick Rick, Robin Thicke and 311 just to name a few. Also featured is my joint, Rick Springfield's Jessie's Girl. I immediately think of Boogie Nights every time I hear it. lol
